WILLIAM C. MARTIN practices in the areas of estate planning & probate, business planning, health law, and nonprofit & tax-exempt organizations law. Mr. Martin is admitted to practice in Delaware (2009), Pennsylvania (2009), and New Jersey (2009). He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and American Bar Association. Mr. Martin holds degrees from Syracuse University (B.A., cum laude, 2005) and Villanova University School of Law (J.D., 2008). While at Villanova Law, he served as the Managing Editor for Associate Editors for the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Susan C. Del Pesco of the Delaware Superior Court, and served as a law clerk for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania – Office of Disciplinary Counsel. As a staff writer for the Villanova Sports and Entertainment Law Journal, Mr. Martin published the article The Graduate Transfer Rule: Is the NCAA Unnecessarily Hindering Student-Athlete from Traversing the Educational Paths They Desire?, 15 VILL. SPORTS & ENT. L.J. 103 (2008). Mr. Martin lives in Wilmington’s Triangle neighborhood and has volunteered as a guardian ad litem for the Delaware Office of the Child Advocate in the Delaware Family Court and as a member of a certified pet therapy team for Newark, Delaware-based nonprofit Paws for People.
